Next up on the epic Memorial Day Beercation trip was Parkway Brewing Company in Salem, Virginia. The brewery didn't open til late and with 10 minutes before scheduled opening there was already a line at the door. They let us in a few minutes early and I grabbed a quick flight of 6 beers ($7).
1. Bridge Builder Blonde - Blonde Ale - 5.9%
2. Majestic Mullet Kolsch - Kolsch - 6.0%
3. The Remedy Hoppy Brown- Brown Ale - 6.2%

Parkway has a very open setup as the entire building has high ceilings all the way from the large hang out area to the brewing floor. They have cool artwork, awesome tap handles, and a really cool piano that one customer was playing like a freaking boss.
There was no outdoor section and the interior section makes you feel like you are drinking in a giant garage because basically you are. The people working there were pretty fun and they had a couple beers I dug. My only complaint here was there was no tasting sheet (also no IBU) and the order you taste in was not the same as the chalkboard. Only a very very very minor thing. They also ran out of coasters.
Beyond Recommendations: Raven's Roost Baltic Porter, Factory Girl Session IPA
